Inside Burundi calls fresh graduates, youth, activists keen to learn basics of storytelling to apply for its 12-week fellowship aiming at equipping them with journalism skills.
The fellowship is open to people residing in Bujumbura only. It targets unexperienced youth or those with less than a year of experience.
It will introduce you to journalistic writing techniques and prepare you for the job market.
The fellowship will be held both in-person and online, thus require access to a computer or smartphone and a stable internet.
The benefits include:
- Attend weekly courses and workshops each Saturday,
- Have an opportunity to pitch your story and get it published, and
- Get mentorship.
For outstanding attendees, internships will be granted.
However, you must be good at both written and spoken English.
